What’s the most important piece of advice you’ve been given?
Never lose your sparkle. It is better to be disliked for who you are rather than liked for a person you are not.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don’t rush life. Enjoy the little moments, love loudly and fiercely, learn from the heartbreak, and grow every day.
What are you most proud of?
I don’t feel like I have an “achievement” that I am proud of as such, but I am proud of the things I have achieved for myself. I have created a career that I would never have imagined, have the most beautiful network of people around me, and I’m the happiest that I’ve ever been. I think that’s something to be proud of.

Absolutely. I have never felt more seen and more heard than I have at BW. It’s so empowering to be part of a business the encourages you to bring everything you have to the table, and be exactly who you are, without judgement. I don’t feel like I need to dim my light.
Which woman inspires you?
I am so lucky to be surrounded by so many beautiful, strong women – my best girlfriends, my colleagues, the women in my family. I’ve grown up with the best role models of women, but there’s no one quite like my Mum. She inspires me day in and day out, and is my biggest cheerleader. I am who I am because of her.
What does it mean to be a woman today?
To be a woman today, means we can do it all. Be resilient but understated, self-assured yet low-key, take charge but also support from the sidelines. In Australia, we have more freedom than ever, and I hope that one day, the rest of the world can adopt the same freedom for women.

To be guided through empathy. To approach each situation with kindness and an understanding of individuals’ emotions, perspectives & experiences. To be compassionate, be kind and be honest.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don’t put so much pressure on yourself, treat yourself with kindness and compassion, the way you do everyone else.
What are you most proud of?
Living a life that I love. I intentionally prioritise what fulfills me whilst simultaneously working towards my personal goals. I am building a career that I am excited and passionate about, with a company that continues to inspire me and push me towards growth.

Which woman inspires you?
My mother and grandmother, or Baka as we call her. They truly embody qualities of hard work, discipline, passion, and a strong work ethic. Baka worked three jobs in a foreign country as a single mother, showing strength and resilience in the face of adversity. Despite life’s challenges, both my mother and grandmother radiate immense empathy and kindness in each interaction.
What does it mean to be a woman today?
Embracing an identity that embodies both strength & vulnerability. Finding strength in softness and being gentle yet resilient is important in navigating the complexities of being a woman.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Enjoy being young and carefree. Don’t worry about the future, it is going to work out exactly how it should, and enjoy each moment and be present.
What are you most proud of?
My ability to pack up and move to the other side of the world and build my career in Sydney with no support system with me! Also, my strong resilience and commitment to building a life of my dreams.

Which woman inspires you?
My mum, she worked multiple jobs to give us a good life growing up as a single parent since I was very young. She retires this year, and I am so excited for her as she has worked tirelessly her whole life and it’s time to put herself first.
What does it mean to be a woman today?
The ability to be unapologetically ourselves, I love that we can show up as leaders in a space where men once dominated, we have so many dimensions, with the ability to show up strong and dominate whilst being able to show our nurturing and empathic sides at the same time. I think we now live in a world where women love and empower other women doing well and it’s powerful.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Enjoy life no matter what will be thrown at you – it is one big, beautiful mess & the challenges just make you that much of a better person.
What are you most proud of?
My little dude, James. Childbirth is the most intense, wild and the most powerful thing I have ever done in my life. Getting the opportunity to now see the world through his eyes makes me really appreciate it even more.

Yes, if you have told me 10 years ago, I would go from being an Executive Assistant to General Manager of Sales whilst having my first baby and managing both worlds, I would have told you that you were lying.
Which woman inspires you?
My mum. She raised two daughters whilst running a business, then in thick of life began caring full-time for her mum after a major stroke. Yet she still constantly showed up for us & the business throughout it all.
What does it mean to be a woman today?
Constantly evolving each day to be better, more confident iterations of ourselves.

What’s the most important piece of advice you’ve been given?
Important advice I’ve been given is, the small steps get you to the goal and the goal unlocks the dream.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Advice I would give my five year old self is, these years are really special to spend with your family making memories.
What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of my gorgeous son, Max. He is nearly 3 years old and watching him grow, learn and play makes me so happy. It’s impossible to put into words how the smile on his face makes me feel. I’m proud of the mother I have become and the special bond we have.

I’m lucky I have many inspirational women in my life, from my Mum Liz to women in my family, close circle and colleagues. I find these women inspirational through their dedication to their families, their professional goals, achievements, and strength to do and have it all.

Always treat others with kindness. You never know what someone is going through, and it can accomplish much greatness.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
It’s ok to make mistakes, you will gain knowledge and experience and grow from it.
What are you most proud of?
Three things! Being a mum to two beautiful children, being nominated in the recent Real Estate Business Awards as ‘Property Manager of the Year’, and last but not least, taking on the challenge of becoming a mentor this year and seeing my colleague succeed.

I’m going to say three, my mum and two big sisters. They have all been through some incredible life journeys and the way they have handled them, grown from them and shown resilience each day has made me proud to look up to them. They have shaped me into the women I am today.
What does it mean to be a woman today?
To be confident in yourself, to fight for what you believe in and not be silenced on what you want in your career and life. To be able to be both a mum and full-time employee and succeed in both.

If you have a goal or a dream, don’t wait for the perfect moment to start working on it.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Stop comparing yourself to others. Instead, learn from your different abilities and use them in your favour. You are unique and so is the way you see life.
What are you most proud of?
Personal transformation is my greatest achievement. I am grateful for the people around me and everything else that has helped me on my journey. Also, accomplishing a degree and having the opportunity to partake in different careers and sectors to date.

Being a woman means being resistant and unapologetic, having the choice to be bold and speak up.

What are you most proud of?
The life I’ve been able to create for myself since moving to Australia. Coming here to travel as a 20-year-old, to 10 years later having a life I had always imagined, is a great achievement for me.

My mum and sister will always be the most inspiring women in my life. They have always taught me you can go wherever, be whoever you want to be and the only person that can stop you is yourself.
What does it mean to be a woman today?
To be a woman today means to be who and what we want – we have the ability to break the glass ceiling. Women are increasingly acknowledging and embracing their authenticity, choosing to be true to themselves, rather than conforming to external expectations. It’s a liberating shift.
