How Sydney will continue to buy/sell property

With new restrictions on how we buy/sell homes right now, BresicWhitney is continuing to safely assist people.

Real estate auctions and open inspections have ceased under new laws to combat the spread of coronavirus. They’re among the public events that will no longer continue according to new restrictions to large social gatherings.

For us at BresicWhitney, this means our agents will continue to service buyers and sellers with Inspections By Appointment, FaceTime tours and purchases by Private Treaty. We are always sharpening those channels for our clients, and now it they will be the norm for transacting across Sydney.

As we process each new announcement, we’re ensuring we can safely and effectively operate within the new environment, while being committed to ensuring our clients can do the same.

Speaking to many this morning, there remains a core group in the market that will persist with their need to buy. Some have recently sold, others are in a strong enough cash position to transaction, regardless of the uncertainty.

The BresicWhitney network, with offices in Darlinghurst, Glebe, Balmain and Hunters Hill, works differently to a franchise. Our agents collaborate to sell each others’ properties, often selling homes on behalf of each other, despite not being the listing agent.

With new precautions in place we’re ensuring those buyers and sellers can come together seamlessly, and safely.

For active buyers only please: every BresicWhitney property is only available to Inspect by Private Appointment or FaceTime tour. You can contact the agent to arrange this on any day throughout the week.
