An under-30 female agent, the rising star of the AREA Awards
With the Annual REA Excellence Awards announced last week, the NSW list of top agents saw BresicWhitney with the most mentions of any independent brand.
Celebrating the best in the property industry, the AREAs recognise the outstanding performance of agents who deliver on every aspect of the property journey.
Among the high performers, one name in particular stood out for us, with Emily Davidson coming in at #55. This marks a significant milestone for Emily as the youngest and only female under 30 to make the list.
Specialising in Paddington with Maclay Longhurst who ranked #4, Emily has built a standout practice in Inner Sydney real estate, alongside one of the best-regarded names in the city and East.
But rather than existing in the background, Emily is testament to the idea that selling real estate is about the connections each individual agent can bring to clients and the ongoing relationships that ensue.
Emily says her rise in rankings cement a decade-long focus for her own approach, while also serving as inspiration for her future and others.
“I think results like this are influential for younger agents because it shows successful selling for clients extends beyond the team’s lead agent,” Emily says. “I’m lucky to work in a high-calibre team that lets each of us carve out our own niche in this industry.”
“Our sellers know we’re not relying on an advertise-and-hope approach, instead working diligently for them in seeking out home hunters, identifying buyers’ needs and creating a deeper network that all our clients can tap into.
“To be recognised in these rankings really legitimises our contemporary approach and proves that there is greater value in having a more than one high-profile agent working together for the same goal.”
BresicWhitney CEO Thomas McGlynn says the high number of ranking agents is testament to the brand’s unique sales model.
“Having had the biggest representation of any independent NSW agency says a lot about our commitment to being one network working for collective results,” Thomas says. “It also shines a light on our commitment to developing the next wave of high-calibre agents, helping our talent achieve the next phases in their careers.
“The fluidity at which we can share information and leverage off each others successes creates opportunities for our own people while setting up our clients for better outcomes.”
Other notable mentions went to high-profile BresicWhitney agents Adrian Oddi at #34 and Chris Nunn at #70.
Congratulations to all the 2022 award winners.
