2020’s biggest month yet

BresicWhitney has delivered a record month for 2020, a huge result for October sellers.

With 101 sales for October, BresicWhitney just saw the biggest month of 2020 so far, and a return to auction selling.

It was no surprise then, to see reports of a lift in Sydney prices. More on that here.

The clearance rate for the month was 81% and we saw a surge in auction attendance with more than 4 people registering each time.

In fact, our busiest weekend saw an average of 8 people register across our auctions.

Romany Brooks sold 2 apartments under the hammer in a week.

Brigitte Blackman delivered 2 sales in a 24-hour window, before auction.
388 Cleveland Street, Surry Hills $1.75 million.

Rhonda Yim continued with successful Inner West sales.
67 Juliett Street, Marrickville $1.425 million.

Brad Papaellinas brought an auction forward, getting 100 people in attendance for an unrenovated home. Most predicted $1.25 million prior, while the competition delivered much more. A fully renovated comparison next door only managed to achieve a similar price last week with another agency.

Guido Scatizzi sold 66 Wells Street, Newtown $1.74 million.
